HISTORY Kris and Shelia Cantu are the proud parents of seven children: Austin (15), Logan (13), Brice (12), Landon (10), Kreston (6), Kaerstyn (4), and Kris-Kris (3). In 2005, Kris and Shelia Cantu converted their family minivan into an on-site mobile oil change unit and started AYP Mobile Oil Change. Shortly after that, they added general maintenance and repair in response to customer demand. In January 2006, AYP Mobile Oil Change entered the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce Office of Small Business Startup Contest and won the Service Category. Since then, they have been on a roll. Both Kris and Shelia serve as ambassadors and volunteers with the Kingsport Chamber Membership and Keep Kingsport Beautiful programs. AYP has been featured on the cover of the Business Journal of Tri-Cities Tennessee/Virginia, and has appeared on the Kingsport Chamberzone, an award-winning business production hosted by Bob Feagins and Laura Steel. This entertaining business program features business news and other news and information from the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce. ![]() In 2008, AYP leased a storefront location near downtown Kingsport in order to expand services (adding more repair services and detailing) and enable them to hire additional employees. The business name has evolved from AYP Mobile Oil Change to AYP Automotive Service Center with AYP's new capabilities. Recently, AYP made the decision to relocate to Fort Henry Drive, now centrally located between Kingsport, Colonial Heights, Rock Springs, Hillcrest and Sullivan Gardens. The new location offers easy access from John B. Dennis Hwy, I-26, and I-81. CORE VALUES
